What's New !

Check here weekly for updates, calendar, and what's new at our facility.

New Rig !!!

Under the Hill Farm has a new show rig.  Pictures are in the works, so watch for them.  Keep on the lookout for a Toreador Red (that's the color they used to call Black Cherry) Ford truck pulling a brand new Circle J three horse slant.  When you see us, come on over.  There's always an empty chair, cool drink, and good times.

Saddles for Sale

A fully buckstitched, hand made collectable saddle.  Made by Leonard White especially for Juli, this is a one of a kind saddle.  If you are into collectable saddles, look this one up in the books.  Pictures will be posted at next update.  Serious inquiries only, minimum bid $4,000.00.

Like new Passier Nicole's Grand Gilbert dressage saddle.  A medium wide tree, (that fits a quarter horse nicely) with a narrow twist seat, (that fits a lady nicely).  It comes complete with a  fittings (top of the line leathers and stirrups).  The seat is a 17" and it has the extra long flaps.  This saddle has about 100 riding hours on it.  It was bought for a specific horse, and not used any other time.  Owner wants $1500.00 but will consider trade for western pleasure or equitation saddle with silver appropriate for showing.  Contact us at the web site Bishopeqntherapy@AOL.com.

The 2002 showing year ended well.  The farm has a lovely collection of prizes that will spruce up the tack room for the winter.  January is a slower month here for shows, but in February, its "off to the races" for all of the clubs.  There are already so many flyers on my desk, I can see where we will have to pick and choose carefully.  If you don't see us at a show, we are probably at another one.  But do come by and visit when you do see us.  Guests are always welcome at the trailer or the show barn.  Look for us in Poway and at Pomona in January.

Edie has new beau

Edie, owner of Sarge, has bought herself a new horse for Christmas.  She located a lovely Arabian western pleasure and hunt seat gelding at Venture Farms in my home state of Texas.  He is a beautifu dark bay with a winning specialty in AOTR.  For those of you who don't speak Arabianese, that's amateur owner to ride.  Amid all the hectic bustle of the holiday season, Edie also endured the vetting and traveling.  No one knows how she survived it.  Look for Edie and Wictor (pronounced Victor) this year at both Arabian and open shows.  Best of luck to them both.  And Merry Christmas Edie!

Links

We're going bigger on the web.  For now, we are adding links to other sites throughout our web site.  But, this thing looks like it could get big.  So- soon there will be a links page.  Look for it  and please visit the sites.  We are trying hard to choose sites we think will interest our readers or provide them with services and information they need.  We will also add links for our customers that are selling items or looking for items at their ad space.  As we say in Texas, "Ya'll come.  Have a look see.  And stay a while."

Links update

Wow!  The response is great.  Looks like the links page is not far off.  For those who visit us via a link, Thanks.  And don't forget to shop, caht, and/or explore those great links you see here.

Sarge has a new home

Sarge was purchased by Shelby this week.  He will be moving to the Valley Center area.  We wish the best to Shelby and Sarge and hope to  see them at the Dressage shows this summer as well as out on the trails.  Enjoy him Shelby, you've got a special guy there.
